Grant Enterprise Access to Kiosk
Allow PypeServer to Access the PypeServer Kiosk
The PypeServer kiosk comes installed with TeamViewer. TeamViewer is configured to allow PypeServer Inc. Customer Support exclusive access to the kiosk. However, even this feature is turned off when a service session (such as a system update or troubleshooting event is ongoing).
To allow PypeServer access to the machine,
Start TeamViewer Host
Click on the settings icon
Click on Security
Check the Grant PypeServer easy access button
Notify your PypeServer support personnel that access has been granted.
Security Notes
Granting PypeServer Access restricts any other connections.
PypeServer Customer Support uses strong password/two-factor authentication through a single two factor gateway.
For the security of the system, do not enter a password, or enable random password generation.
When PypeServer has completed any updates or support, they will attempt to uncheck the PypeServer access checkbox, thereby closing the door to any further access. It is strongly recommended to keep this unchecked unless there is a need for PypeServer support.
